President’s Day at Heritage Hill

Best suited for grades 4 – 6

Celebrate President’s Day by learning about past U.S. leaders, what it takes to campaign for president, and the importance of voting. Students will learn vocabulary words related to presidents and elections; read about U.S. presidents in a gallery walk; write campaign slogans and create campaign posters; and finally, register to vote and vote in a mock election.
